Indians Rout Huskies

The Waukon on Indians looked to be back on track Friday night…..and so was Kristyna Herman. Herman has sat out since the second day of practice this year after a knee injury forced her to the sideline for rest and rehab. It looked to pay of as she and her teamates played one of their better games of the season in a 71-48 defeat of the Oelwein Huskies.

Mullen Wacker lead the Indians with 21 points and more than a handfull of nice assists to fellow Indians. Chelsey Dreckman finished with 10. Cassandra Berger and Herman each dumped in 9. Eli Ronan had 7 and Daneshia Snitker and Alissa Smith had 6 each to lead a balanced scoring attack on the night.

Waukon looks to keep improving as they face their toughest stretch of games for the season with 6 games in the next 11 days, including games vs the top two record wise teams in the conference, Waverly and Charles City, both of which the Tribe lost close games to earlier this season.

Waukon faces North Fayette on the road tomorrow afternoon.

All scores from tonites game are unofficial***
